The vehicle is a Land Rover Defender 4X4 in excellent working condition and covered by the required insurances. Security
belts are installed in the back, for every passenger. A white cover protects the people from the sun and the rain. In
case of abundant rain showers, rain coats are at one’s disposal on board.
Patrick or Manate, our guides and drivers, have a long experience in off-road excursions. The people can enjoy a very safe and
interesting ride!

Private tour of the island, with a 4X4 Land Rover Defender. The 4X4 makes the ecological, cultural and historical sites easier
to access. The driver and guide, Patrick or Manate, know every corner of their island, and love to share their knowledge and experience!
During the tour, the guide gives details on the geological formation of Bora Bora
island, the history of religious sites (marae) and some sacred practices (human
sacrifices for example), as well as information on American presence during
the second world war. The visitors can also enjoy great views of Bora Bora
lagoon.
He also leads an easy 20 minute walk in the forest, to access a site where
visitors discover an old turtle petroglyph. On the way, visitors can learn about
tropical plants like ginger, mango tree, ylang ylang, coconut tree, vanilla, wild
hibiscus etc.
Mineral water is provided during the tour.
